Multiversus is filled with characters from all over the various fantasy universes under the Warner Brothers umbrella. You can get characters from Rick and Morty, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, DC and more. Each character is not free, and will cost you some resources to permanently unlock on your account. Here is everything you need to know on how to unlock characters in Multiversus.
How to Unlock Characters in Multiversus¶
If you’re wondering how to unlock characters in Multiversus, you can use a few methods. The main way most people will unlock characters is via the gold cost. You also need to know there are three main price points for characters in Multiversus, which are based on difficulty. The first is recommended, with standard and expert characters having their own cost.
- Recommended - 1500 gold.
- Standard - 2000 gold.
- Expert - 3000 gold.
When you have enough gold, head into collections and press the unlock button at the bottom of your selected character. If you want to make gold in Multiversus, we have bnroken down the maths for you.
Meanwhile, you can also append real money to buy Gleamium, the premium currency in the game. Every character in the game will cost 700 Gleamium, which translates to under ten bucks for a single character. Obviously, like other cash shops, the value of a character is hard to determine in real-life money, thanks to bundle savings and awkward Gleamium bundle costs not translate to direct character costs.
The final method of figuring out how to unlock characters in Multiversus is through character tickets. They are only available for a limited time during Season 1 and during beta. The different founders’ packs come with different amounts of character tokens you can use to unlock characters. There may be more character token features in the future, but they are reserved as founders’ pack rewards.
