Superman is a tank hero from the DC universe making an appearance in Multiversus. The character has a unique move set, with players able to fly and do plenty of long-range charge-ups and other Kryptonian shenanigans. But the key to mastering the character does not just reside with his moves, as his perks play a key role. Here are the best Superman Perks in Multiversus, along with an explanation of our theory.

Best Superman Perks in Multiversus

In our opinion, there doesn’t seem to be an objective best Superman Perks in Multiversus. The reason why is because there are plenty of combos Superman can do, both horizontal charges and aerial knockouts. The play style is dependent on what you like doing on Superman and going with that. Therefore, we will list what we believe to be the two best sets of perks for Superman that can proffer you something different.

Best Vertical / all-around Perks for Superman in Multiversus Description Slot
Break the Ice Superman deals additional damage to fighters debuffed by Ice. The additional damage scales with stacks of ice. Signature Perk
Hit ‘Em While They’re Down Your team deals 5% increased damage when hitting debuffed enemies. Offense Perk
Triple Jump Your team receives an extra jump after hitting an enemy while in the air. Utility Perk
Boundless Energy Your team receives a 10% faster dodge invulnerability recharge. Defense Perk
Best Horizontal Superman Perks in Multiversus Description Slot
Break the Ice Superman deals additional damage to fighters debuffed by Ice. The additional damage scales with stacks of ice. Signature Perk
Percussive Punch Power Your team deals 5% increased damage with attacks that knock back enemies horizontally Offense Perk
Hit ‘Em While They’re Down Your team deals 5% increased damage when hitting debuffed enemies. Offense Perk
Boundless Energy Your team receives a 10% faster dodge invulnerability recharge. Defense Perk

The core of both builds uses the same Signature and debuff offense perks. The Signature perks and the offense perks add extra damage to your debuffed enemies, which you will do thanks to the ice breath signature neutral. You will also then get bonus damage while using your skills on those hit with the debuff through the two perks. The singature perk ensure you use your ice breath to freeze enemies, as this allows a guarnteed combo starter with a charged skill, no matter if you’re using a horizontal or vertical focus.

We also think that the Boundless Energy Perk is exceptionally good. The reason why is because Superman is quite a heavy character and will rely on a few charge skills to be effective. The result is having your dodge off cooldown more effectively avoids oncoming combos and gets positioned to use your moveset in retaliation.

The main difference between the two builds is one perk, Triple Jump and Percussive Power Punch. Percussive Power Punch is a great offence perk that adds extra damage eto any horizontal skills you use. This is good for horizontal-focused players, who like using the stunlock jab combo and charging their horizontal attacks to send enemies flying with knockback. This work great for when you manage to get a full 15 stack of cold on an enemy and land a guaranteed full-charged attack that deals lots of damage and makes it much harder for them to escape a ring out.

Someone using the horizontal build may consider using the armor break full charge offense perk, too. It’s a good idea if you’re playing against other tank characters, or fighters with lots of super armors, but it isn’t always necessary.

Meanwhile, vertical players will want to use the Triple Jump. The reason for it is because Superman has some really strong charged and regular upstrike skills. The reality is Superman can easily send someone to the skybox at around 80 hp, so having a triple jump allows him to do some incredibly good aerial combos for that purpose, using the two upper cuts and the throw upwards skill.

As you can see, the hybrid tank has quite a few combos up his sleeve. Making the best out of all those different playstyles. This is why we think it is key to mention the different playstyles and let you know the best Superman perks in Multiversus are situational to you and the enemy team you’re up against.
