Still here? Great. It’s time to go to Spy School then. Blundergrad is Two Point Campus’ ninth Campus and sees you operating a Campus training spies for Two Point County. The front for the whole operation is Roach Burgers and as such you will have to run a Gastronomy course alongside your Spook lessons.
Unfortunately, enemy agents have realized they can infiltrate your operation just by, er applying for a place on the course, so you will have to be on your toes to eradicate any moles as the academic years roll on by.
How to unlock Blundergrad in Two Point Campus¶
Unlocking Blundergrad in Two Point Campus is simply a case of getting a 1 Star Rating on Upper Etching and Pebberley Ruins. Complete that on them both and you will be training up your very own James Bonds before you can say ‘Shaken, not stirred’.
Blundergrad Tips¶
We have to say it is a treat to have a regular monthly income once again after the headaches Upper Etching caused us last time out. Things are a bit more ‘back to normal’ here in that you can at least plan your strategy a little easier.
One thing to point out before we get cracking on best practice here - Blundergrad is a cold campus so you are going to need to place radiators absolutely everywhere to stop your students and staff from getting cold and wanting to leave. And if you like to place things outdoors such as your food concessions, then patio heaters will be required in those areas too.
As a level, Blundergrad is much more straightforward. You have the pain of having to run two totally different courses simultaneously, but at least you start with a relatively large building to work with.
You are also given a Savoury Kitchen so there is no expense there. You will need to build a gadget room to train your spies but beyond that, build out your usual Dormitory, bathroom, and shower areas and find a spot for your library too.
Later on in the level, you will unlock the Panic Room which is sort of like a Ninja Warrior course and will need a 12x6 space for the course to fit inside. It is unlikely at this point that you will have anywhere for this without purchasing an extra plot of land, but the prices here are lower than elsewhere.
How to catch moles in Two Point Campus¶
Here we go with another game mechanic we haven’t seen up to now. We have gotten used to Campus Invasions - where bad guys storm your buildings and make a menace and have to be removed by Security trained Janitors, but Moles go about things differently, confusing and generally making any other students in the vicinity worse.
You will be alerted when a mole is believed to be on campus and you must then scour all your rooms looking for students emanating the @ sign everywhere they go. Now the trick here, one of these is the mole, and the rest are just being affected by the mole, you then need to keep track who moves where and whether the confusion remains. When a student leaves the room, do they remain confused? If not, they aren’t the mole. It sounds more complicated than it actually is, and once you have a handle on who you think is the bad guy, you need to expel them and you will be told if you got it right. Think ‘Among Us’ in some ways.
One thing worth noting our moles always seemed to dress as Spy School students, so if they were in a room full of students dressed as Chefs for their Gastronomy course, it’s a lot easy to work out the culprit.
Rated¶
To get the 1 Star Rating for the campus you need to build a Research Room right at the beginning and a Training Pod. If there are no teachers with Research skills available, train one up and go to their job list and untick everything apart from Research. You need to complete three projects as one of the criteria, so you may as well get that chalked off as that will make over a year to do, all going well.
Other than that, getting your Campus to Level 10 should not be a big deal, nor should the Average Food rating of 75%. Just remember to put vending machines and concessions everywhere, especially don’t forget when you open and new building and it will soon rise. If you suddenly see it drop 10% or so you will find it is because your Assistants working in them have gone on a break. It will go back up.
Getting 10 B Grade Spy School classes was more time-consuming than anything. Just make sure you always have enough rooms (the higher their prestige level the better) and teachers to cover all your Spy classes. Upgrade your lecturns if you have enough cash and it can’t do any harm to train your teachers in the Training Pod either.
Courses unlocked at Blundergrad¶
Even though we have to run two courses from the off we have already unlocked Gastronomy, so the only new class here is Spy School which brings with it the Gadget Room and Panic Room as unlocks as well.
Buying Extra Plots - Blundergrad¶
We ended up buying a couple of extra plots of lands before we could achieve our 1 Star Rating here, but money is nowhere near as tight as it is on some of the other campus’ so it wasn’t too stressful.
