Fruit Roborant is one of the few consumables players can get in Dragon’s Dogma 2, which is handy for restoring your HP in combat. In the early game, players can also get a quest where they need to get the item for the Medicament Predicament quest for Flora, who stands outside of Runne’s Apothecary, located in the ruined stronghold of Melve. There are a few ways you can complete the quest for her. This guide will teach you how to get Fruit Roborant in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and complete the Medicament Predicament quest at the same time.
How to Complete the Medicament Predicament Quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2¶
So, you have a few ways to get the Fruit Roborants and complete the Medicament Predicament quest.
- Buy it outright at Runne’s Apothecary.
- Buy parts from Mia, the trader near the manor.
- Craft it yourself.
- Find it in a chest
Buy Fruit Roborant at Runne’s Apothecary¶
The easiest and simplest way is to head into Runne’s Apothecary and purchase the item yourself for 600G. Simply walk into the shop next to the quest giver, speak to the trader, part with 600G and you’re done. However, 600G is quite a lot of money in the early game, especially if you’ve been buying better gear for your pawns and Arisen. So, there are methods to do this for less gold or free if you get the right items.
Crafting Fruit Roborant¶
Let us start with the free way of getting Fruit Roborant in Dragon’s Dogma 2. You should have unlocked the ability to start combining items upon starting this quest. If you combine Dried Fruit and Greenwarish, you will then create Fruit Roborant. You should be able to get your hands on some Greenwarish by looting the chest in the Apothecary, and it is commonly found via the bright green plants in the wilderness nearby. Meanwhile, you can get Dried Fruit by letting fruit ripen and then combining two of them. You’ll typically get Ripe Apples around a day or two of rest, having picked Apples from a bush, which are also commonly found in the nearby wilderness. You can also use Mornintide in place of Greenwarish, and the recipe still works.
If you don’t have access to Dried Fruit, a trader in Melve named Mia sells it. You can find Mia by the Manor at the back of Melve, near to where you woke up in the main storyline. She will sell you Apples for 50G each and Dried Fruit for 350G. Notice it’s significantly cheaper to do it this way than to buy it from Runne’s Apothecary. Feel free to buy the Dried Fruit and combine it with the Greenwarish you have to create Fruit Roborant. You can also get one Dried Fruit from the quest reward by completing the Provisioner’s Blight quest from Borderwatch outpost.
Loot Fruit Roborant From a Chest¶
Another method for obtaining Fruit Roborant requires you to start the In Dragon’s Wake quest by speaking to Gregor in Melve. As you move north along the road, you’ll come across a group of Goblins that you’ll need to kill. Look on the cliffside to your left along the way, and you’ll see a chest containing some Fruit Roborant. The only issue with this method is that you’re already on the way to the capital at this point. Still, it’s a completely free way of obtaining the fruit, so it’s worth the delay.
Once you have one, return to Flora at the front of Rune’s Apothecary and hand it over. You’ll complete the Medicament Predicament Quest, grab yourself a 100G reward, and the Ring of Exultation, increasing your HP by a small amount. She’ll also drop a hint to visit her grandfather, as he will be able to reward you better than she can. In case you missed it, her family’s store is based in Vernworth, the capital city you must visit as part of the main storyline.
And there you have it. You now know everything you need to know about getting Fruit Roborant and completing the Medicament Predicament in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
