Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

Where to Find Mithril

By
Vincent Lau

There are a number of Resources to be found in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. Some of these Resources can be obtained from the environment. This page will detail the location of the Mithril resource.

Name Location
Mithril Lava Ruins

Mithril is an extremely rare material required to forge the MAX version of each character’s weapons. There are only 3 pieces of Mithril in the game–1 is required for each weapon; you cannot sell Mithril.

Mithril Location 1

(1 of 3) Area with the 1st piece of Mithril.

In the area east from the 2nd signpost (Ancient Workshop), take the north-west exit. Continue west until you reach 3 crates stacked on top of one another. Do not break these. Stand on top of the crates and jump to the platform on the right.

You can double-jump with CJ, then perform an Air Dash at the peak of your jump. Once you’re on top, do the same thing to reach the next platform on the left. Here, there’s a luxurious chest that contains the first chunk of Mithril.

Mithril Location 2

(1 of 3) Area with Mithril number 2.

In the area east from the 2nd signpost (Ancient Workshop), take the south-east exit, where the Red Elementum Pillar is. In the next area, cautiously travel east while dispatching the various monsters. At the endpoint, you’ll be forced to fight a Searing Ogre. Prevail to find various treasure, including a chest with the second Mithril.

Mithril Location 3

(1 of 3) Area with the final piece of Mithril.

After Mellore destroys the bridge at Charred Crossing, take the long way round to reach the Fallen Chamber, where the 4th signpost is. From the signpost, hop on the nearby rock to the left and head east while skilfully jumping across the platforms.

When you’re halfway through this area (before reaching the Fire Sorcerers), drop down to the ground, then go west. Use the Fire Rune to destroy the Red Elementum Pillar, being mindful of the fire slime near it. Beyond is a shiny chest containing the last Mithril.

How to Upgrade Weapons with Mithril

(1 of 2) Besides Mithril, you will need a whopping 10,000 baqua.

Besides Mithril, you will need a whopping 10,000 baqua. (left), Max all 3 weapons and a nifty achievement is yours. (right)

Once you’ve got Mithril, you can upgrade your weapons from Level 4 to MAX from Main Quest 25 and after completing the “Iugo is Missing” quest for rambling Bertrand. This will Level Up the Weapon Shop to Level 4, allowing you to access the MAX Level weapons.

If you upgrade all 3 weapons to MAX, you’ll unlock a new achievement: Arms Master.
