This page explains how to complete the “Profit Chasing” shop quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising.
Difficulty | Given By | Objective | Reward |
---|---|---|---|
1-star | Felipe (Second Street) | Ask around to find out what business would be profitable | Stamp, EXP: 500, 500 Baqua |
You will unlock the ability to do this side quest, Profit Chasing, after finishing Main Quest 6: Trouble in the Quarry. Felipe is located on Second Street, to the right of the Apothecary. He wants to open up a profitable business, but doesn’t know which kind, so he asks you to go around and gather some information from the townspeople.
How to Complete Profit Chasing¶
This side quest is pretty simple, as you only need to go around the town and speak to some NPCs. Start off by going back to Outlander Lane, via the exit to the left, and the first NPC (Aki) will be right to the left of the Second Street entrance. Speak to him, then go all the way to the right to find the next NPC (Olivier), to the right of the inn. The third, and final, NPC will be to the left of the Weapon Shop; her name is Viti. Note that the NPCs must be spoken to in the order above, as they do not have the quest trigger otherwise.
Once you have gathered the information from the three NPCs, report back to Felipe to finish the quest. He will open up a Tool Shop, which is a pretty important store. This place will allow you to upgrade the tools you have, as well as craft some new ones, such as a Trap or Fishing Rod. Upgrading your tools will allow you to get more resources from the various spots littered around the dungeons.
