This page explains how to complete the “Go Get My Treasure Chest!” shop quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising.
Difficulty | Given By | Objective | Reward |
---|---|---|---|
1-Star | Hogan (Second Street) | Find Hogan’s chest in the Great Forest | Stamp, EXP: 500, 500 Baqua |
You will unlock this side quest, Go Get My Treasure Chest!, after finishing Main Quest 6: Trouble in the Quarry. Hogan will be on Second Street, on the far right end, to the right of Rene and the Pawnshop (once you complete Exactly 100 Baqua). Hogan has had his chest stolen by some bandits, which he needs to open up the trading post. He mentions the chest should be in the Great Forest.
How to Complete Go Get My Treasure Chest!¶
Thankfully, you don’t technically need to fight any enemies in order to secure Hogan’s chest. Travel to the Great Forest, then fast travel to the Forest Cave signpost and continue to the right. When you reach the next area, you should be back outside, which is where you want to be. Keep going right, fighting/evading any enemies, and you will encounter a blue chest sitting out in the open. Bust open the chest to find Hogan’s stuff, then return it to him to finish the quest.
Hogan will be opening up the Trading Post, where you can trade some lesser items for more valuable ones, along with some baqua. The better service offered by Hogan is the ability to get rewards based on how many Stamps you have acquired. Note that you don’t actually lose your Stamps here, but just get a reward once you reach milestones (every 10 Stamps will net you something). Once you have gotten a reward, then you will not be able to get it again.
