Before setting off to Central Resulia again, it’s time to take a small detour to view some Private Actions and do a few other things. One PA requires you to split up in Sthal, which is done via the whistle icon on your map; if it doesn’t appear, then enter/exit Fidel’s house. There should be two more here, one of which is named “Leader By Proxy.” Getting this one is important, as it unlocks a new Role for you to learn (Rival). You should be able to get it on the path that leads towards the exit to Passage on the Cliffs.
Note that there are stronger versions of the enemies you fought before in both Passage on the Cliffs and Coast of Minoz, as well as in the Resulian Plains and Dakaav Footpath. You will want to head to Myiddok, as not only can you purchase some shiny new equipment for your characters, but you will find some new Quests from Welch there (you might have been able to do these before). Doing both of them (Drunk on Creation and Brute Strength of Blacksmithing) will not only get you some decent experience, Fol and SP, but you will also unlock some new Specialties (Fishing, Cooking, Excavation and Smithery).
For Drunk on Creation, you can purchase both the Lemon and Spring Water from the merchants in town and as for Brute Strength of Blacksmithing, you should have enough Iron from fighting enemies and looting chests. However, you might not have enough Wooden Sticks, so head to Resulian Plains and find both the Apprentice Scumbag and Man-Eating Tree enemies, as they both drop the item; additionally, you can buy Wooden Sticks in Myiddok, but they cost 300 Fol each. Now you can head to Central Resulia, noting that there are new enemies on the plains (if you haven’t already figured it out), as well as stronger versions of some enemies from earlier. While you can advance the story, go to the bulletin board to see that there is a lot of new Quests available, seven in total!
Forget about the Mother’s Medicine quest for now, as the Physical Stimulant can be found in the western part of Resulian Plains, which you will get to shortly. You should be able to finish all of the item quests, unless you haven’t been fighting or scavenging from chests/harvesting spots. That leaves the three quests that require you to kill specific enemies. The Gileeghas are in the Passage on the Cliffs area, while the Lnkyri are in Coast of Minoz and Luck Suckers in Dakaav Footpath.
Go to the Dakaav Footpath first and into the area where you fought the Eitalon bandits. You will find the Luck Suckers there (they are bats), but be wary that there are Giant Bats also in the same area, so make sure you keep an eye on the Quest in your menu to see if it has finished or not. For Lnkyri, you can find them on the beach in Coast of Minoz (very easy to spot). For the Gileeghas, enter the Passage on the Cliffs from Coast of Minoz and head north to the first spot to find three of them (respawn them to get your five kills).
The Gileeghas quest will unlock the Entomology Specialty skill, letting you get more drops from insects, while finishing Shiny, Shiny Scales! rewards you with Treasure Sense (can see chests on the minimap) and doing Batting 1.000 Against Luck Suckers has you getting Augury (hit Square on skill in Specialties menu to get random tips/sayings). Completing the Lnkyri quest will unlock another one called Give Back that Bonus, where you need to hunt down a Greedy Avaricia in Coast of Minoz. You will find this creature (looks like a harpy) in the middle of the northern path, and it’s not too hard to defeat.
