Stray: Dead End Memory Locations

Stray’s Dead End mission is the point where you depart from the Slums to find Doc, which will allow you to enter the Sewers. But, to do that, you need to meet Doc and get the tools to combat the Zurks to make it there. While on the mission, you will come across three memories that will add to your contribution to the ‘I Remember’ achievement. If you’re looking for that achievement, here is how to find Stray’s Dead End memory locations.

How to find all Dead End memories in Stray

There are three memories in the Dead End mission, with all three memories entirely optional to find. Here is how to find all three Dead End memories.

Dead End memory 1 location

The first Dead End memory location is up against this metal gate right at the start of the mission.

The first Dead End memory location is right at the start of the mission. Proceed into the staging area with Seamus and let him walk to the locked door. He will mention that he cannot go and insists you go. Go through the door, and he will shut it behind you. Then you can proceed with the mission as normal.

Once you’re through the door, proceed to walk forward and down the path. Once you come to a three-way turning, go left towards the wall at the end. You will find a memory at the end of the gate in the wall’s archway.

Dead End memory 2 location

The second memory location in Dead End is by this rusty fisherman robot.

The second memory location on Stray’s Dead End level is on a wharf. Progress from the first collectable down the path that makes you continue the mission. Navigate the flooded area, jumping across the pipes, barrels, and girders as normal. Once you board the ‘vehicle’ and go fast, you need to climb from the pit.

Climbing from the pit is easy, and you will then start jumping across more girders and air conditioning units as normal. Once you bring the huge chasm, you will land on an AC with a platform and path. The path has a small sweet stream flowing towards you with plants on either side of it. Continue up to the path and go towards the metal fence at the end of the path rather than following the water.

The dirt path brings you to the metal fence with an opening in it, followed by some wooden wharf platforms. To the right of the fence is a larger platform with a giant fishing rod and a dead, rusty robot. The rusty robot has the memory you need to collect.

Dead End memory 3 location

The final memory location on Dead End is this mannequin.

The final memory location of Dead End is the traffic cone. The traffic cone is in the Docs’s house. Continue with the level as normal, and arrive at the residential area on the map. The building opposite the chasm with the balcony is Doc’s house. Make your way inside by climbing up the second-floor window and climbing down the stairs. You will then start Doc and wake him up to begin the conversation. Proceed through the conversation, and you’re free to roam his house.

To the right of the Doc’s desk is a sofa crammed with rubbish. Then there’s a mannequin stood there with a bucket with a yellow smiley face painted on it. This is the final memory of the Dead End level.
