Trophy hunters in Stray will find plenty to do, ranging from finding lots of collectables to fun side activities. One of the fun, smaller trophies to get your hands on is the Boom Chat Kalaka trophy. Here is how to get Stray’s Boom Chat Kalala trophy.
Boom Chat Kalaka trophy guide¶
To get the Boom Chat Kalaka achievement, you’re going to need to load up the Slums level. We prefer the second level as the inhabitants already know you and it gets all the scripts of the town flowing correctly. You then want to head to the centre of the town, right in front of the main building where the Guardian stays. Slightly to the side, a basketball is perched near the market at the top of the steps. You might have missed the ball as an out-of-place object on the street or ran into it and knocked it away unintentionally if you were playing the game normally the first time around.
The aim is to then push the basketball down the stairs and into the bucket (maybe it’s an open soil pipe?) at the bottom. This counts towards dunking the basketball. You should get the notification of the achievement several seconds after the ball went in the bucket as long as it landed inside the bucket at the bottom of the steps.
If you happen to miss, it seems a little hard to get the ball back up the stairs. If you missed the ball, you should reload the chapter. It doesn’t take too long to load the second slum level and then take your shot again. Once you have the angle, simply push it in by walking the cat into it; it should be nice and easy.
This is one of the more simple trophies to get in Stray. However, the deception of it being a bucket at the bottom of the stairs and not a basketball hoop may have made people miss this easy-to-get trophy in the first place.
