There are plenty of safes to unlock as you make your way through Stray. One of the first optional safes you can unlock is the Slums safe, which is located next to the Sewer entrance. Here is everything you need to know about the Slums safe code in Stray for those looking to open it.
How to open the Slums Safe code in Stray¶
There is a safe located next to a garbage pile near the entrance to the Sewers. However, you cannot open the safe unless you have the safe code. To get your hands on the safe code, you need to head to the bar, which is just up the street from the safe code.
You can find the bar very close to the village centre, slightly up the road from the path of the sewer, past Morusque and then turn right down the main street in the Slums. The bar is next to the empty vending machine. Head inside the bar and then jump on the bar counter. Walk up the painting hung on the wall in line with the bar and above the Dufer sign and knock it off its nail. The painting should drop down and reveal a code on the wall, reading “1283”.
Now you have the Slums safe code, head back to the safe and open it. Inside you will find music sheet #8, which is part of the Meowlady trophy. The Meowlady trophy requires you to find and collect all of the music sheets in the Slums level and hand them over to Morusque. When you find all eight and hand them in, you get a gold trophy, which is one of the harder trophies to get in the game.
We recommend checking out our Music Sheet locations guide, if you’re interested in pursuing this trophy.
