How to Get Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded

By
Craig Robinson

Fossilized Bone is a brand new mid-to-late game material that players will need to get as they venture through the final two biomes in Enshrouded. This material is used for a variety of crafting purposes, ranging from Alchemy to improving the Flame level. However, this resource is only in very specific locations throughout the game, and so, we are here to help you with getting Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded.

This guide shows you how to get Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded.

Where to Find Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded

Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded is located along the large bone remains of creatures found within the Nomad Highlands and the Kindlewastes Desert regions. You can often see them in the distance as they are quite large, and the map often reflects their bone shapes on the map too. You can find examples of these in the images below.

The easiest place to access the Fossilized Bone deposits is just to the west of the Nomad Highlands Tower. If you have that unlocked, you simply need to glide west from the top of the Tower, and you shall land directly on top of a Fossilized Bone deposit fairly easily. Start mining the material, and you shall get Fossilized Bone for your efforts. If you still need to find this Spire, go through the Shroud on the northern side of the Highlands, find the Vukah passages on the northern side of the cliff and ascend up the hill. From there, you’ll find pathways leading towards the tower.

(1 of 2) Fly directly west from the Highlands Tower, and you’ll find a large Fosillized Bone Deposit.

There are many other locations for Fossilized Bone that you can find as you explore the Nomad and Desert regions. Keep an eye out for giant bone deposits sticking out on the map, and you’ll find more areas to mine if you need them.

The other method of getting Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded is by smashing vases in the Nomad Highlands and beyond. The vases and other destructible props have a chance to contain loot for that area, among other crafting materials and resources. There’s a huge area where you can find vases in the Nomad Highland and Kindlewaste Tower, alongside the Obelisk site near the Pillars of Creation at the very start of the Nomad Highland biome area.

When you get your hands on the material, you must place it in a Grinder and convert it into Dust for most crafting materials. However, you must also submit a considerable amount to the Flame Level to raise it from level 4 to 5. You will need to do this to gain access to the Shrouded areas of the Kindlewaste Desert, and then upgrade it further to reach the final Sun Temple Dungeons in early access. So, don’t turn all your Fossilized Bones into Dust just yet.

When you are in a spot to turn it into Dust, you can find you need the dust for crafting recipes such as the following:

  • Eternal Ice Bolt - ammoless endgame spell.
  • Transcendental Screen - Level 15 legendary craftable shield
  • Hunter set - from the hunter craftperson.

This concludes everything you need to know about Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded. Good luck on your journey to get this resource.

As you seek to destroy the Shroud you’ll encounter monstrous enemies that are born from it, but also other types in the form of Scavenger bandits, the Vukah warrior clan, and more. Whether you choose to focus on building your dream base, defeating some of the most difficult bosses, or exploring whimsically to your heart’s content, this guide covers all of it with the following sections:
