Enshrouded

Shroud Sack Location

By
Matt Chard

In Enshrouded, you’ll want to get some Shroud Sacks as you explore the northern region of Revelwood. Maybe you’ll be playing as a Ranger and need them for Shroud Arrows, or it could be to upgrade your Glider to the advanced version, either way, you’ll want some Shroud Sacks at some point. The problem is these can be difficult to find unless you know where to look, and what to look for. Read on to discover where you can find Shroud Sacks, including some of the best locations for the shroud flower spitters.

How to Get Shroud Sacks in Enshrouded

Firstly, let’s get what you’re looking for out of the way. You’ll need to defeat enemies in the Shroud called Shroud Spitters. These are blue flowers in the Shroud that appear as flower buds from a distance. When you get close or attack them, they open up and spit a glob of Shroud at your location. They are relatively easy to kill, with them being especially susceptible to fire damage.

Where to Find Shroud Flower Spitters

Now that you know what to look for, let’s jump into the where you can find them. You can find the spitters in any Shroud location from Revelwood onwards, but these will be few and far between. However, if you head to the Shroud area in the northeast of Revelwood, southeast of Huckster Square in Pikemead’s Peak, you’ll find a plethora of Shroud Spitters. The easiest way to get there is to fast travel to the Revelwood Ancient Spire, and glide from the top as far east as possible. This will change depending on how much Endurance you have, stamina food buffs (water, chamomile tea), and a Flask of the Fell (increased stamina).

As this is quite the trek, you may run out of the Shroud timer, so using a Shroud Survival Flask is recommended to extend your time. If you do run low on the timer in the Shroud, there are rocks you can jump up where you’ll be out of the Shroud to replenish your timer. When you get there, you’ll regularly find groups of three to four spitters at a time, with the odd one scattered around the area. The bad side is there is no nearby fast travel, so if you need them regularly, we recommend placing a Flame Altar nearby, so you can teleport there whenever you want.

Enshrouded is a survival game where you play the role of a Flameborn, the last hope of a dying race of Ancients and their Human allies. You’re one of the few beings who can withstand the deadly Shroud, which smothers much of the land as a pathogenic fungi. As you seek to destroy the Shroud you’ll encounter monstrous enemies that are born from it, but also other types in the form of Scavenger bandits, the Vukah warrior clan, and more. Whether you choose to focus on building your dream base, defeating some of the most difficult bosses, or exploring whimsically to your heart’s content, this guide covers all of it with the following sections:
