Much more well-balanced than the Sorcerer at the cost of Magic, the Dark Knight also enables use of swords. Similar to the Malig Knight, most characters in the game including Leo who would be a Dark Knight are skewed heavily towards Magic, making it difficult to use Swords. But the option is there and the growth rates of the Dark Knight do promote Strength.

Seal Magic is great for protecting allies with low Resistance if up against a mage-heavy army (and for creating a seal-bot, a unit who specializes in sealing multiple stats at once), but Lifetaker is really what you’re going to be going for. Unlike Sol, Lifetaker is not chance based and instead will always activate so long as you defeat the enemy you choose to attack. It’s an easy way to relieve pressure off your healers and create a unit that is very much self-sufficient.
