Looking at the map it is very apparent that the vast majority of the enemy forces are mages, with Fire Orbs set up along their perimeter to fire on us. You would think that this would mean you need to bring along units with high resistance stats, but this isn’t necessary. The key to this map is the Dragon Veins. These things will Silence all enemy mages, which downright neuters the vast majority of the enemy forces. This is a huge advantage, and to top it off, we have three Dragon Veins that we can use one after the other. The entire idea around this map is to blitz the enemy when their mages can’t attack us. It is fine to bring along whoever you wish, but mounted units and Mages/Archers are ideal so you can hit an enemy twice easily.
Spend the first few turns getting into position with your forces, leaving a strong royalty character near the upper Dragon Vein and Azura between the two upper Dragon Veins. Get another noble down near the middle Dragon Vein. Once your forces are in place, have one of your nobles hit a Dragon Vein and then blitz the enemy position. Take out the Faceless fast as you can, as they can actually attack on the enemy’s turn, but settle for mages if you must. We’d like to get rid of them as well.
Once you engage the enemy, three Faceless reinforcements will appear from the forts to the right. Use this turn to trip a second Dragon Vein with your noble take them down. With Azura, you should be able to kill off a couple. With this second turn of no mages coming after us, your middle team should push in even further, completely taking care of the physical units and slaughtering most of the mages.
As you push through the center, Velouria will make her appearance, coming in from the upper left and joining the fight as a playable character. She should be able to kill of an archer up there on her own.
If you are in no immediate danger, hold off on using the third Dragon Vein. Wipe out the remaining middle forces and the right Faceless and get a noble in place by the bottom Dragon Vein for a push on the next turn. Your healers can also get in some healing time as you position your forces for a push north/south as needed.
The next turn use your final Dragon Vein and wipe out the Archers and Dark Knights to the north/south. This all but guarantees victory as you have the defense-supported boss, but your strongest mage should have no problem with them, whether they are able to use magic or not.
