Split your forces into two teams here to sweep up each side. This only gives us about four party members on each side, so bring along your strongest warriors. Also, leave your Avatar at the entrance area for a few turns. You’ll see why in a little bit. It’ll be worth it, and then they can catch up.
The right side has significantly more ranged units (magic and archers) so take that into account as you pick your team and send them up. The left side is more melee heavy with Ninja (who know Lunge for some inexplicable reason) and Samurai. Generals also await you so bring Sting Shuriken, Armorslayers, magic users, whatever you have to destroy them. Keep in mind that when taking the stairs, if you use up all your movement to get to the stairs, you will not be able to move off of the stairs, blocking your allies in the back from coming up to cover you. If you have lots of movement leftover, you’ll have lots of mobility after you take the stairs.
So take your time to regroup your members once you’ve cleared out a room.
On Turn 2, Shura shows up on the right side as an enemy. As a level 10 Adventurer, he stands out as the strongest enemy on the map and will likely be stronger than your entire army, capable of one-shotting or two-shotting most all of your units. So talk to him before any of your army attempts to make it into that room. Once recruited, he will excel at mowing down the opposition before you, but beware as he’ll also be a major experience hog in that way! Before you chase after Shura with your Avatar though…
On Turn 3, Nyx shows up at the entrance, so talk to her with your Avatar to gain the Dark Mage to your side, then leave her there or pair her up. As a low-level unpromoted unit, in stark contrast to Shura, she has been very poorly balanced for Revelations and will be one-shotted by everything on this map. You can use her to pick off weakened enemies if you want to start leveling her up some, but in order to make her useable you’re going to have to give her a little bit (a lot of) TLC.
Once you have recruited everyone, popped open those chests, and ganged up on the boss, your Avatar will acquire the Alpha Yato and you’ll be well on your way to progress!
