Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation is the third story path that you can take that results in you, the Avatar, siding with neither kingdom and instead seeking the noble (and somewhat impossible) goal of bringing both sides together to ultimately fight against the true enemy of the game within the invisible kingdom of Valla.
Being the “ultimate story path”, Revelation mixes concepts and game designs from Conquest and Birthright . Maps are fairly complex and bosses can be very tough, but you are allowed to grind for experience, money, and resources (DLC maps will give you experience in Revelation , for example). You will also be able to have a greatly expanded character roster including all characters from the main two game paths, in addition to all of the child units.
This can be overwhelming, so feel free to pick and choose your favorites if you want to! Because of this, you will also by extension have access to class combinations and decisions previously unavailable. For example, you can now achieve A+ rank between Leo, of Nohr, and Takumi, of Hoshido, giving them access to classes they can’t otherwise obtain without marrying female Avatar with the corresponding Talent.
Your MyCastle will feature shops from both games (Dawn and Dusk Armory, for example), ore and food plots from both games, etc. Additionally, you will be able to obtain or purchase weapons native to both Nohr and Hoshido, such as the Killer weapons or Shuriken, and you can forge them all within your own Smithy, so you don’t have to go out of your way to find other Smithys online.
So, Revelation does truly aim to be the “complete experience” of Fire Emblem: Fates . However, you can’t buy it on its own! You must already own a hard or digital copy of Conquest or Birthright , and then you will have to access to eShop through that portal to find Revelation .
You can find the other two guides in our store:
