This page offers a guide on how to find and reach the Haze Lab in Grounded. The Haze Lab is home to one of the all important Super Chips that BURG.L needs you to locate.
Where is Haze Lab?¶
The Haze Lab is found deep in the Haze area to the southwest of the map and to reach it, you’ll need a Gas Mask. It is also recommended you level up your armor and gear a little more prior to going into this lab as the enemies are quite brutal!
How to Make a Gas Mask¶

Gnat Fuzz | x4 | |
Weevil Nose | x1 | |
Crude Rope | x2 |
Head over to our guide on How to Make a Gas mask for more detailed information on where to get all resources necessary to make the mask.
How to Get to the Haze Lab¶
Now that you have a Gas Mask, it’s time to go out to the Haze area and find the lab! The Lab is found in almost the exact center of the Haze (map location). To get there from around the Mysterious Machine, you’ll need to head through the grasslands and pass by the large rock and rake, which mark the entry into the Haze. As you get further into the Haze towards the middle you’ll come face to face with a whole host of infected gnats and weevils.
How to Open the Haze Lab Door¶
Once you’ve found the door you’ll discover that the entrance into the lab is blocked off by a jammed door. To get into it you’ll need to bring an explosive - either a Bratburst or a Splatburst.
How to Make an Explosive¶
The Bratburst bomb is the easiest of the two and can be made using the following materials:
Icon | Material | Quantity |
---|---|---|
Fungal Growth | x2 | |
Red Ant Egg | x1 | |
Dry Grass Chunk | x4 |
For information on how to get all the required materials, head over to our guide on how to make a bratburst. Once you have the explosive of your choice, throw it at the door and wait for it to explode and you’re free to enter into the Haze Lab!
It’s worth noting that there is another entrance into Haze Lab via an underwater tunnel further west from the Haze Lab door, but it is significantly harder to access as there are loads of aquatic enemies. Even though you won’t need explosives, you do need a tier II dagger such as the Spider Fang Dagger or the Bone Dagger to cut down the plants blocking your path.
