6-star Prowler Quests

6-star Purr-owler Quests

As usual, there’s a handful of Prowler Quests to complete, so get to it!

The Right Cattitude

Objective: Hunt an Arzuros

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: None

Notes: Well it only took like 6 levels before you can finally hunt what you’ve already taken care of four levels ago. This should be very easy for you.

D. Hermitaur Shellbreaker

Objective: Break Daimyo’s shell

Location: Dunes

Subquest: None

Notes: If Daimyo Hermitaur dies before its shell is broken twice you will fail this quest! This quest is deceptively difficult/annoying because of how hard the shell is, bouncing most weapons except your boomerangs, and on top of that the shell needs to break twice without killing Daimyo Hermitaur itself. Aim all your attacks almost exclusively for the shell and be patient ! One thing helpful, if you can use the terrain to your advantage, is to mount Daimyo Hermitaur as often as you can. Mounting will deal break damage to the shell!

Surrounded by Blue and Green

Objective: Hunt all large monsters (Velocidrome, Great Maccao)

Location: Arena

Subquest: None

Notes: Contrary to what the name suggests, you are not going to be fighting them at the same time; rather, you’ll be fighting them one-on-one, back to back, making this much more manageable. Combine this with them having near nonexistent health and you have yourself one stress-free quest.

Poison and Fangs

Objective: Hunt a Bulldrome and an Iodrome

Location: Marshlands

Subquest: None

Notes: Unlike the quest above, this takes place in a fully fleshed out map (the Marshlands) and so they will be on the map simultaneously. However their health is very small, especially Bulldrome’s. If you’re feeling nervous, be sure to equip the Palico’s hunter version of the Dung Bomb item (if they have it). More importantly, if your Palico has it, equip the poison immunity skill!
