Watson | Complete the Side Job “Ex-Factor” |
Description¶
Talkin’ ’Bout a Revolution is the third Side Job in Judy’s questline, starting some time after the Side Job Ex-Factor ends. After leaving Clouds and parting ways with Judy you’ll need to pass time until Judy messages you, which technically starts this quest. It won’t get started in earnest for a while later, however, as Judy says she’ll call you in a few days in these messages. “A few days” doesn’t turn out to be anything quite so dramatic, just skip more time and Judy will call, invite you over that evening, and ask some all-important questions about your taste in pizza toppings.
The Clouds Conpsiracy¶
Travel to Judy’s apartment and don’t worry about the time of day - you’ll get an option to wait outside if the time isn’t right. When the time is right, head over to Judy’s door, use the intercom, then follow a doll named Tom (you might recognize him from Automatic Love) inside. Sit down on your designated stool and engage in small talk until the guest of honor arrives, after which you just need to navigate dialogue options until V opts to test out Judy’s plan. After a demonstration fails to impress Maiko, you’ll need to get up and engage in some fisticuffs with Tom to put Judy’s plan to a more serious test.
With the core concept of Judy’s plan proven (and V’s confidence shaken), continue hashing out the plan with Maiko and Judy. The only choice you can make here that matters is whether to do the job or not, and there’s no good reason to drop the questline at this point, so pick “You can count on me.” when you get the chance. Next Judy will offer to pay for your work, to which respond “Out of the question.”, after which Johnny will act up (the malignant rockerboy doesn’t approve of your charity here). Tell Judy the truth about the biochip or play it off and she’ll offer to let you stay over, which might not be the worst idea, considering how the relic is acting.
Leave or stay - if you stay the night, you’ll be treated to breakfast. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds, as it just means you can grab some grub off the counter. You can also search the apartment for insights into Judy’s hobbies - with ample commentary from Johnny - if you want. Judy herself is nowhere to be found. Stay the night or not and leave the apartment afterwards to finish the quest.
As usual, to start the next Side Job in this questline you’ll have to pass some time, which shouldn’t require you to do anything more than putting some distance between yourself and Judy’s apartment and skipping time. Once again you’ll get a message from Judy that starts the next job, Pisces, promising a call at a later date.
