There are 120 recruitable characters in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and they are typically obtained naturally throughout the main story, but some will require you to seek them out on your own. There are some that even require you to do something extra, which is the case with Chandra, as you’ll need to defeat her in The Eldroad.
Chandra Location¶
There are quite a few steps to go through before you can recruit Chandra, such as getting the HQ to Level 2, Building the Drill Ground, recruiting Code L, and reaching the Reunion main quest.
HQ Level 2¶
HQ Level 2 will require 26 Allies which you should have naturally via the story, but if you’re curious if you’re missing any, then check out the All Recruitable Characters page. Food can be obtained over time by purchasing the “Establish Pasturage” Blueprint or it can be obtained by interacting with the gathering nodes in Bounty Hill. If you want to get more resources per node, then you’ll want to place Pastole in the Support slot of your active party.
Drill Grounds¶
You’ll also need to have the Drill Grounds built, but you’ll need to recruit Stadler who can be found in Impershi’arc. However, you’ll need to beat him in a mock war battle which should be easily doable if you’ve recruited everyone up until this point of the game. Additionally, you’ll need Food x100 and Pelt x40 which can be found by interacting with the gathering spots in The Den of the Dunes or it can be acquired over time via unlocking the Hunter’s Cabin at your HQ.
Recruit Code L¶
Next up, you’ll need to recruit Code L who can be found in the Rune Shop in Daphan Village, but you’ll need to obtain the Rune of Currents which drops from the boss in the Hishan Old Town dungeon before he agrees to join.
With these requirements met, head into the Drill Ground to learn about a dragon attack and then place Code L in your party before heading over to The Eldroad. Follow the path around and you’ll encounter Chandra at the end of a small pathway to the northeast. Just use some basic attacks against it until it settles down and then she’ll join the Alliance. Before leaving the area, be sure to open the chest for the Dragon Doria Recipe.
