Thaumus found a piece of paper with some words on it, but he couldn’t use magic to figure out where it came from. He thinks it might be some spell, so he asks for some heavenly wonderwater. Unfortunately, at the time you get this quest, you won’t be able to get this item quite yet, so it will have to wait until a little bit later. Once you reach Chapter 7 and recruit 50 people to your kingdom, you can upgrade it to level 3. This is when the Mining Camps No. 4 and 5 unlock. Both will have Heavenly Wonderwater unlock around level 2/3, so put a person in those until you get one, then hand it over to Thaumus. Not only will you finish the quest, but you learn how to make a new weapon, Beddy-Bye Lances.
