Tyran is back once more, setting his sights on taking over Evermore for himself. Chingis posted a soldier outside of Evermore to scout things out, so speak with him to spawn the skirmish flag, with the battle being level 51. If you feel you are underleveled, then you can always defeat a few units, withdraw and keep doing that to build your forces up. When you begin, Tyran will be to your north, composed of two hammers and two sorcerers. He’s not alone, though, as there are four other units in his little possee, being two more hammers and two gun users.
Things can definitely get hairy here, so don’t be afraid to temporarily retreat to summon more reinforcements. There’s no telling when Tyran, himself, will actually join, so it might be best to try and lure the other units away to see if you can get them alone. Take them all out and cross the bridge, where Tyran will appear once more, being made up of two hammers and two gunners, with ranged units also being nearby. At this point, your Shock Tactics might be full, so go ahead and use it to make the battle over more quickly.
You can head in one of two directions here, with north being the main path and west being a side one. Head west for now to find a lone sword unit, along with a cannon. Continue north to another sword unit and two more cannons. Taking care of these now will make you avoid their fire while you take the main path now. As you approach the second wooden fence, with the siege tower just behind it, Tyran shows his ugly mug for the third time (two swords and two hammers), bringing along a spear user.
Bring them to their knees, then carefully take out the siege towers to the north without triggering the next story bit. Speaking of that, it will just be Tyran, all alone this time, so defeat him and the remaining siege towers to see him run off. You may think the battle is over at this point, but an incineraptor flies in to make matters worse. However, Tyran starts attacking it, so you’ll need to help him bring the dragon down. Trigger your Shock Tactics, as well as your skills, and the dragon will go down pretty quickly, ending the skirmish and quest.
