Nightingale

All Ore Locations - Nightingale

By
Matt Chard

There are twenty-one different types of rocks, ores, and minerals in Nightingale, but finding them can be a chore. Due to the game’s procedurally generated maps, it’s impossible to give you precise locations on all these materials, however, we can tell you what realms you’re likely to find them in and what tier they are, which helps narrow down the search. Read on to find out what ores are in which realms, and what Gear Score you need to reach them.

Ore Location Chart

Realm Locations is the biome card you need to place in the machine, while the Minimum Realm Card means that you need at least that level of card to find the respective resource. Finally, the Realm Power details what level you can expect the realm to be. For example, copper can be found in any realm starting from Abeyance, which means you’ll need at least 20 Gear Score to survive the realm, although Copper requires your pickaxe to be at least 40.

Ore Deposit spawns in Nightingale are restricted to specific biomes and Realm Power.

Type Mining Level Material Realm Locations Realm Power Min. Realm Card
Mineral 10 Sulphur Desert, Forest, Swamp All Abeyance

Ore 230 Titan’s Fingernail All Abeyance
Rock 10 Granite Desert, Forest, Swamp 51+ Provisioner
Rock 40 Gneiss Forest 1-158 Astrolabe
Stone Block 10 Granite Desert, Forest, Swamp 51+ Provisioner
Stone Block 10 Marble Desert, Forest, Swamp All Provisioner
Stone Block 0 Sandstone Desert, Forest, Swamp All Abeyance
Stone Block 40 Schist Desert 1-158 Astrolabe
Stone Block 40 Slate Swamp 1-158 All
Stone Block 40 Gneiss Swamp 1-158 All

Note that the Realm Power number is not the level required to mine that specific ore, but rather the level of the realm itself. You can change the realm power by selecting the difficulty modifier when you create a new portal. If the list says “All”, it means the ore can be found in any realm at any level. That’s that then. As we experiment, we will come back and add some more details to the list such as general locations where the ore can be found, or what level you can mine it but until then, this should get you underway in finding what realms specific Ore can be found in.

Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game with a few unique features for the genre. First among these is the Realm Card system, whereby players can discover and craft Major or Minor realm cards to influence aspects of procedurally generated worlds or character attributes respectively. You may find yourself in a more forgiving or hostile world depending on the Major cards you use, but the Minor cards can give you an edge against foes with boosts to damage, health, stamina, or other aspects of survival. The game is set in the Victorian era and has more than a little influence from Steampunk fiction, so if that’s anything like your thing, you’ll love this world!
