Where to Find Danu in Nightingale

By
Craig Robinson

Danu is one of the peaceful quest NPCs in Nightingale, which players can complete as part of the long quest chain for the Sun Giant’s Prize questline. You may need to do this quest if you intend to get all of the achievements in Nightingale, alongside still completing the main storyline, reaching the Watch, and completing Nellie Bly‘s questline. Here’s everything you need to know about finding Danu in Nightingale.

Here is a closer look at where to find Danu in Nightingale, featuring her location and the questlines that she is involved with.

Where to Find Danu in Nightingale

To find Danu in Nightingale, players must complete the Gloom Site of Power. Combine the Gloom with the Swamp Cards and you’ll load into Danu’s realm.

When you arrive in the realm, open your map and check for the NPC marker showing you where Danu is. Go ahead and make it to her shack and speak to the NPC. Exhaust the dialogue options, and you will find that you can give her some assistance. She’ll then help you out with the quest you need to make it to the Sun Giant storyline, called Silence the Fae’s Tune.

Now that you’re up to speed, Danu wants you to go and complete 5 Bastilles of Intellects. The quest is better done by completing Intellect puzzles in the Gloom worlds or going to one of the T1 worlds, where you find less difficult Intellect puzzles to complete. The Intellects in that world tend to have five-six Puzzle Cores and so, they can be quite tricky and slow to complete otherwise. Meanwhile, the easier ones in other worlds will be very fast. Make sure to complete the Fae Tower first, as completing the Tower does reveal all the POIs on the map, meaning you can plan your Intellect route easily.

Once you’ve done that, return to Danu, and you can hand in the quest. From there, you are tasked with creating the Ritual Curio, requiring Etched Ingot, Plant Fibre, and a Cut Gem. Craft it at your base, and you’re done. From there, you can continue with your quest to track the Sun Giant in Nightingale.

Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game with a few unique features for the genre. First among these is the Realm Card system, whereby players can discover and craft Major or Minor realm cards to influence aspects of procedurally generated worlds or character attributes respectively. You may find yourself in a more forgiving or hostile world depending on the Major cards you use, but the Minor cards can give you an edge against foes with boosts to damage, health, stamina, or other aspects of survival. The game is set in the Victorian era and has more than a little influence from Steampunk fiction, so if that’s anything like your thing, you’ll love this world!
