Log 1 - Background Request¶
The Background Request log can be found inside the USG Kellion, which is the name of the small ship you start the game in. You’ll find it just to your left before you leave the ship, directly opposite the exit, as shown in the screenshot below.
Log 2 - Sponsored Article: The USG Ishimura¶
You’ll find the second log inside the Flight Lounge of the USG Ishimura, beneath the Welcome Aboard sign on the left side of the room as you walk in for the firs time.
Log 3 - Run!¶
You’ll acquire this log automatically as you run from the Necromorphs attacking your crew mates in the Flight Lounge.
Log 4 - Send Help¶
You’ll find this one at the Security Phone in the hall as you make your way towards the Tram Control Room, just after picking up the Plasma Cutter and killing a Necromorph.
Log 5 - Repair the Tram System¶
The Repair the Tram System log is acquired automatically when you enter the Tram Control Room. You’ll get a call from Daniels and Hammond which marks its acquisition.
Log 6 - Repair Invoice¶
You’ll find the Repair Invoice log on a chair to the right of the Circuit Breaker, found on the second floor of the Maintenance Bay. You arrive here when you need to provide power to the Maintenance Room (aka the Maintenance Bay Office).
Log 7 - Dismemberment¶
This log is automatically acquired when you enter either the Tram Repair Room or the Maintenance Bay, depending on which objective you go for first. We went for the Data Board before replacing the damaged tram, so it triggered for us when we entered the Maintenance Room.
Log 8 - Stasis Door¶
This one is acquired when you reach the malfunctioning door leading to the Tram Station Hall. You need to use the Stasis Module to slow the door down, and Daniels will call you after finding the Stasis Module.
Log 9 - Autoloader¶
This is a missable log which you can only acquire after failing to attach the right claw to the tram in the Tram Repair Room. Interact with the control panel for the right claw and wait for contact from Hammond in the form of an audio log. Once you’ve received the message you can attach the claw properly using the Stasis Module.
Log 10 - Stasis Module Request¶
This one is located in the Tram Repair Room, on a workbench opposite the control panel for the left claw.
Log 11 - Replaced the Tram Car¶
This log is automatically acquired once you’ve replaced the damaged tram by attaching both claws to it, then interacting with the control panel to set the replacement procedure in motion.
Log 12 - Poker Invitation¶
You’ll find this one on a shelf in the Maintenance Bay Office, the same place where the Data Board is found. You need to use the Circuit Breaker on the second floor of the Maintenance Bay to provide power to the Maintenance Room before you can enter the office.
Log 13 - Found the Data Board¶
This log is automatically acquired once you find the Data Board in the Maintenance Bay Office. This is part of the main objectives for chapter 1 so it’s impossible to miss without completing it.
Log 14 - En Route to the Bridge¶
This log is automatically acquired once you call the tram for Daniels and Hammond from the Tram Control Room. You need to replace the damaged tram before you can do this.
Log 15 - Arrived on the Bridge¶
You’ll acquire this log automatically once you return to the Flight Lounge after calling the tram for Daniels and Hammond. There will be a number of Necromorphs that you need to defeat along the way.
Log 16 - Go to Medical¶
You’ll acquire this log automatically when you defeat the Necromorphs after returning to the USG Kellion ship.
