While playing Dead Space (2023) Remake you may stumble across Schematics. These unlock various items for you to purchase in all the shops scattered across the Ishimura. There are 13 Schematics in total to find, but only 12 are needed for the Merchant. This guide will list all Schematics you can find in Chapter 2.
Schematics 1 – Pulse Rounds¶
The first set of Schematics you will presumably find is the Pulse Rounds. They will be in the Coolant Pipelines room which is locked the first time you get to it. Progress the story until you need to get the Hydrazine Tank, and the Shock Pad. If you follow the Shock Pad path first, you’ll end up in an area with zero-g.
At one moment you’ll go through a door with a sign outside it displaying “Lines to Coolant Pipeline”. Go through here, kill the Necromorph near the Security Clearance Level 1 door, and follow the path to the end. Here you’ll find an empty elevator shaft where you can use your thrusters to reach the bottom. Open the door and walk forward to discover the Schematics on your left.
This Schematic allows you to purchase Pulse Round ammo in the shops.

Schematics 2 – Stasis Pack¶
The next set of Schematics is the Stasis Pack. It will be in the Main Lab Changing Room in the Medical Deck next to Dr. N: Brennan’s office. Follow the objective to obtain the Hydrazine Tank, and it will lead you to the Medical Deck. When you first reach the Medical Deck, everything will be locked due to the Quarantine.
You’ll need to head down the small elevator to defeat all the enemies before the Quarantine is lifted. Now that you have access to most of the rooms in the area. Head over to the Main Lab Changing Room in the east and the Schematic will be on the bench to your right as you enter.
This Schematic will allow you to purchase Stasis Packs in the shops which will recharge your Stasis after using them. These are a single-time use.
