Throughout the Ishimura in Dead Space Remake, you may observe that Peng’s name appears everywhere from posters, stickers, and even graffiti. So there should be no surprise that there is a trophy/achievement related to Peng. If you find the “Peng Treasure” you’ll be rewarded with the There's Always Peng! trophy/achievement. This can be tricky to find if you don’t know when, and where to look. Thankfully, we have that covered for you.
What is the Peng Treasure¶
The Peng Treasure is a small statue in the shape of a woman. Its only use is to sell at the shop for 30,000 credits, similar to the Conductor items. This comes in handy as you will most likely need the extra cash to purchase the Advanced Engineering Rig suit upgrade which will set you back 60,000 credits, and you’ll get them around the same time. When you acquire the Peng Treasure you’ll get the above trophy/achievement.
Where is the Peng Treasure¶
You will need to progress the story until Chapter 11 to get access to the area where the Peng Treasure resides. When you reach Chapter 11, progress the chapter until you are tasked to “Engage the Cargo Crane”. In the same room where you get the objective, there will be a Bench and a small elevator. Take the elevator down, and you’ll be in the Hangar-Control-Tram-Control Cargo Bay, a large room filled with tendrils and various Necromorphs.
It’s not all bad in here though as there is a lot of loot to collect including a Master Override chest containing a Force Gun weapon upgrade. Back to the Peng Treasure, in the northwestern corner of this room are some lockers hidden behind several boxes that can only be moved by Kinesis. You’ll know you’re in the right place due to all the Peng posters and stickers scattered around the area. Move the boxes away from the lockers, and interact with the leftmost locker to get your hands on the Peng Treasure!
