This page will provide details for earning the “A Worthy Successor” achievement in Gotham Knights.
How to Complete the A Worthy Successor Achievement/Trophy¶
To earn the A Worthy Successor achievement/trophy, you’ll need to buy every ability in the Knighthood Tree in the Abilities menu. There are seven in total to purchase, which will cost you 11 AP (Ability Points). The good news is that you only need to do it with one hero.
If you’ve spent most of your points already, don’t fret as you can gain an extra ten levels in New Game +, and these will give you more AP per level than the 1-30 levels. Another alternative method could be to switch over to a hero you haven’t played yet, and level all of theirs up, but you will have to unlock Knighthood again for them.
How to Unlock Knighthood¶
Before you can purchase all the abilities for the A Worthy Successor achievement/trophy, you’ll first need to unlock Knighthood as the tree is locked at the beginning. To do this, you’ll need to complete the following challenges:
-
Timed Strike Training – This is self-explanatory, head to the gym equipment in The Belfry to access the training, head to advanced training, and you’ll find the Timed Strike Training there.
-
One Step Ahead – Stop 10 Premeditated Crimes. Head around the open world completing premeditated crimes, 10 to be exact. These crimes are indicated by a red triangle, and vary in difficulty. If you need more to appear on the map, complete small crimes for clues, then head back to The Belfry to analyze them.
-
Against All Odds – Defeat three Minibosses. You should complete this while you rid the city of premeditated crimes. Minibosses are normally the bigger stronger enemies of each faction. For example, the Godmother, Shocker, Bulldozer, and the Gladiator Talon.
When you’re done with them, head back to The Belfry, and check the armor pieces to the left of the exit to get a short scene followed by unlocking your Heroic Travel ability alongside the Knighthood Tree.
