This page details everything you need to know about how to escape the Labyrinth during the 5.2 - Inside Gotham’s Walls case file in Gotham Knights. The first part of the Labyrinth will be slightly different for Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood, but only in terms of the kinds of hallucinations that they encounter inside. The same traps and puzzles will be present, which we’ll cover here.
How to Escape the Labyrinth Traps¶
How to Get Through the Wall Spikes¶
The first trap that you’ll encounter in the Labyrinth are the wall spikes, which pierce you from both sides of the wall if you try to walk through. There’s no way to grapple above them, and you can’t dart through them either. The solution here is actually surprisingly simple: just duck using left by default on PC, or on both Xbox and Playstation. You can then crouch under the spikes unharmed!
How to Avoid the Flamethrowers¶
The next trap that you’ll soon encounter involves fire, and you’ll need to walk under the inactive flamethrowers to successfully pass through. There are multiple ways of doing this, but we’ve shown one particular method in the gif below.
How to Avoid the Spinning Blades¶
For the next part, you’ll need to avoid some spinning blades which can seem very difficult to get through at first. Before you reach them, you’ll walk to a dead end and you’ll need to turn back, discovering that the flamethrower room is no longer there and has been replaced by the spinning blades. The method to avoid the blades here is similar to the first: you’ll need to crouch. However, you’ll also need to avoid the spikes by walking around them as they move, as shown in the gif below.
Run Through the Hallucinations¶
This next part of the Labyrinth will be unique to each hero, with Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood each having different visions that they’ll be confronted with. It doesn’t matter who you’re playing as here, all you need to do is pick a route, either left or right, and keep running down it until you reach a door. The door will recede from you multiple times, but you’ll need to keep trying to open it until you’re eventually able to open it. On the other side, you’ll find a puzzle room.
How to Solve the Owl Sphere Puzzle¶
This puzzle is fairly simple. You just need to shine the light from the spherical owl head towards the stone door on the other side of the room. You can move the owl sphere by grappling to the owl statues above, and standing over the platforms on the ground. You first need to grapple to the owl statue opposite, then jump down and walk over the left platform, then the right, before grappling to the other owl statue to complete the puzzle.
If you’re struggling with this puzzle, see our video on how to complete it below.
Once you’ve completed this puzzle you’ll need to fight a new type of enemy, a Gladiator Talon, in the next room. See our page on How to Defeat a Gladiator Talon if you need help with that!
