During the story mission in Case 04.2, you will enter the Orchard Hotel as part of the ongoing investigation into the Court of Owls. While most of the mission is relatively straightforward and easy, at one point, you will encounter a puzzle that might be a bit confusing on how to solve it. You will come to a room that has four statues of various landmarks from Gotham City, with each one having a pressure plate in front of it. Your goal is to step on the four plates in the correct order, which will progress the mission.
How to Solve the Landmarks Plates Puzzle¶
The problem that arises is that you initially have no idea as to the order in which to step on the plates. You could do a little bit of trial and error to try and do this puzzle, but there’s actually a logical solution. On the edges of the room, you should see some paintings, which are actually ones of the buildings you see in the puzzle. Underneath each of the paintings is a number, depicting the year in which those buildings were erected.
You may already be figuring this out, but if you haven’t, you will need to step on the plates according to the dates in which the buildings were first erected. You will be going from oldest to newest, which means you will be standing on the plates in the following order:

Once you have solved this puzzle, a secret door will open and you will be able to continue the mission.
