If you have reached this page, the chances are you are interested in who exactly is going to be doing the voice acting in One Piece Odyssey. Mayumi Tanaka takes on the videogame role of Monkey D. Luffy
Who Are The One Piece Odyssey Voice Actors?¶
One Piece’s main star is Monkey D. 
Luffy and the role in the game here is taken up by the original voice actor , Japanese actress Mayumi Tanaka. 67-year-old Tanaka has voiced Luffy since the very first episode 22 years ago when she was considerably younger, but her credits go back as far as 1978 when she made her debut as Ryoko Takagi in Gekiso! Ruben Kaiser. Quite the career span and now she lends her vocal talents to One Piece Odyssey as well, giving the project so much more authenticity.
Tanaka also spent three years working on Dragon Ball, and a further seven on Dragon Ball Z, so it is safe to say we can class her as Anime royalty.
She has appeared in many video games too, including previous One Piece titles and lots of Dragon Ball Z games, In terms of live-action stuff however, these are few and far between and all limited to Asia, although she has also voiced in Hollywood movies Minions: The Rise of Gru and Sing. She also provided dubbed lines for the Japanese version of Killing Eve.
With no English actors providing dubbed lines in One Piece Odyssey, players will get the authentic Japanese feel to the game. Surely you didn’t want a dubbed version anyway?
OPO also stars Kazuya Nakai as Roronoa 
Zoro, another Japanese actor who has a huge pedigree in videogame voiceover work with his more recent work including Ghost of Tsushima and Fire Emblem Heroes, plus a host of Final Fantasy work to boot.
While these names may mean more to One Piece fans it is great that Bandai Namco has managed to get some many of the original voice stars into the project to lend it the extra authenticity that is going to delight fans of the mega-franchise the world over.

One Piece Odyssey English Dub¶
If you are looking to switch the audio in One Piece Odyssey from its native Japanese into English, you are out of look. The game’s voice lines are all in Japanese and subtitled into English. There is no English soundtrack included within the game.
