Sons of the Forest is nearly here, with players ready to crash again like it is Season 1 of Lost, albeit this time via Helicopters. However, the helicopters are still in transit to the Steam servers, and the game Songs of the Forest release time is yet to arrive.

Sons of the Forest Release Time¶
Sons of the Forest release time estimation is scheduled for 10 PST, thanks to the Steam page’s planned release section. Note, this may occur later or earlier, so keep an eye on the store. Below you’ll find we created a table converting major timezones most familiar with our reader base.

At the time of writing, no preload is confirmed for the Sons of the Forest. No pre-order is also available for the game, thanks to its early access rating. The developers confirmed around the start of February the game is launching in an early access state. The reason for it is down to a very small number of things needing to be ready for the third delay the game received. So, the game is going into Early Access, so then the devs can finish them up and ship them when it is ready, rather than delaying the game again.
This also means that there is no pre-order available either. Games that enter early access never receive a pre-order, as the store goes live exactly when the game is available. This is because pre-orders only work for full-release games, not titles still in active development before that version 1 patch comes in.
For those wondering, the game is priced at $30. There is no set conversion rate, but you can likely expect the price to be around £/€25, as is typical with Steam exchange rates at this value. We may be slightly off on the mark though, but that is roughly what the live exchange rate is for the US to Sterling right now.
