This is a guide for the Support Request, Geofront B1 Sector Monster Extermination in Day 3 of Chapter 3 of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero.
How to Start Geofront B1 Sector Monster Extermination¶
You will be able to get to this support request during Day 1 of Chapter 3 in your playthrough. As usual, head to the SSS building and check the terminal to see the list of new requests at the start of the day.
How to Complete Geofront B1 Sector Monster Extermination¶
You don’t need to speak to anyone to officially start this request, so you just have to go to where the target monster is located, which is the Geofront B1 Sector. If you forgot how to get there, go to the Residential District in Crossbell and the entrance will be down the stairs there. Once inside, take the duct at the entrance to reach the end area, then go through the western door to find the Giant Drome.
Boss: Giant Drome¶
Enemy | Lv | Elemental Effectiveness | Drops |
---|---|---|---|
Giant Drome | 23 | 155 100 145 100 | U-Material |
Dark Attendant | 22 | 185 125 145 165 | Clear Gelatin, Eye Drop |
This fight can be very simple or a bit annoying/difficult, depending on how you approach things. The Giant Drome will be accompanied by four Dark Attendants at the beginning of the battle, which are in the four corners of the arena. It also has the ability to summon more Dark Attendants throughout the course of the battle, and will not hesitate to do so. The Dark Attendants are nothing special, as their only attack is a normal one, but this has a chance to inflict Blind on the character. On Hard difficulty, the Dark Attendants’ normal attack inflicts about 300 damage.
The Giant Drome is pretty similar to any other Drome-type enemy you’ve faced thus far in the game. Its normal attack can leech health from whomever it hits, while it can also use Super Recovery to heal itself for about 300 HP. Likewise, it can use an Art to inflict big damage to your party. In this case, the Art is Spark Dyne, which is an AoE and can deal upwards of 850+ damage to anyone it hits; this Art can also inflict the Seal ailment, which stops the character from using normal attacks, Crafts, and S-Crafts.
The Giant Drome is resistant to all ailments and debuffs, including the AT Delay from Randy’s Power Smash attack. Despite this, it still needs time to charge up when using its Art, so you could use Lloyd’s Stun Break or Elie’s Wild Swan to cancel the Art being cast. This can limit the damage done by the boss, as it might just keep wasting turns trying to cast the Art. For the Dark Attendants, they are not resistant to any debuffs/ailments, so you can use Randy’s Crash Bomb to Blind them all and make them miss their normal attacks more often.
Note that just defeating the Giant Drome isn’t enough, as you will still have to clear out all of the Dark Attendants left on the field. Once all enemies have been defeated, you will be finished with this request and can go report it via the terminal in the SSS Building.
