Upon finishing the main quest, The City of the Sun, you will have to speak with Olin and be presented with a choice to either kill him and spare him. Pick either choice and this errand will automatically be put into your log, where you need to find where Olin’s family are being held captive. The log says to look in the Spurflints, specifically south of the Tallneck in Copper Deeps, which is southwest of Daytower. Look for the campfire directly south of the Tallneck icon on your map to start from there.
Follow the road south and you’ll eventually reach a split in the path, as well as have your log update on its own. It says to either investigate the Spurflints or talk to Olin, the latter being completely optional. Do this anyway, running to the other side of the rock formation to find him at the base. He will bring you over to where his family is being held, where you will be presented with a choice to either bring Olin along or do it alone. If you choose the former, then Olin will pretty much storm right in the front gate, so he can be a nice distraction while you pick all of the enemies off with ranged attacks.
Go it alone and you’ll have to be careful the enemy doesn’t spot you. Either way, before you take any action, use your Focus to find the enemies and tag them, noting that one of them will be a leader, so he’ll be a little tougher to bring down. On the southern side of the outpost, look on the cliff to spot an archer, who should be your first target - a quick shot to the head will bring him down easily. With that enemy dead, you can use this little spot as a nice camping area, complete with tall grass, to pick off the enemies below.
Depending on whether Olin is in the fight or not, kill all of the cultists, again being careful of the elite one with the Deathbringer Gun. Loot their bodies until you find a key, then use it to unlock the basement doors on the side of the building. As soon as you open the door, you find Olin’s wife and child, so speak with them to end this errand.
