Cauldron RHO Override. Snapmaws can be dangerous machines, as they are the only ones that can attack you while both in water and on land. They are mostly melee, but do have one ranged attack, where they spit freezing projectiles, similar to Glinthawks. You could potentially get rid of this attack by targeting and destroying the sac under their mouth, but it’s in a hard to hit spot and probably not worth the trouble. The only other real weak spot on Snapmaws are their Blaze Canisters, which go boom if hit with fire arrows.

There is one catch, though, as it seems the canisters will have armor on them most of the time, so you’ll have to attack them normally to gain access to the actual canister. The Snapmaw can lunge at you and then do a little fake out by spinning around to try and hit you with its tail. If close enough, it can snap at you with its jaws. As they are weak to fire overall, fire arrows will be a big help in quickly eliminating them, as well as staying on land, since you can’t attack while swimming.
