At Mother’s Crown, you can talk to Taim, who asks you for two favors. He wants you to hunt some boars to get some skins (four of them to be exact), as well as to recover a ring the lost whenever he was fleeing a Sawtooth. You can hunt for Boar Skins anywhere, but the ring requires a specific area, which is marked on the map northeast of Mother’s Crown. The western highlighted area is where you will find the ring, but head to the eastern highlighted area first. This is assuming you don’t have the required amount of Boar Skins, but if you don’t, then hunt down the boars in the area until you get them. Note that there’s a Sawtooth in the area, so take care of it before you go running after the boars.

As for the ring, enter the western highlighted area and clear out the Grazers and Watchers that you might find there. Activate your Focus to find some tracks that you can follow. This will bring you to a boar carcass, where you’ll find the Lost Ring lodged in the boar’s throat. Loot it and bring it back to Taim at Mother’s Crown - he’ll be by the campfire just outside the northern exit.
