There’s a low chance of obtaining Magnamalo Plate from hunting both Low and High Rank Magnamalo.

As you can see, the odds of getting a Magnamalo Plate are very low–at best, you’re looking at 3% at Low Rank and 5% at High Rank. If you’ve unlocked High Rank Magnamalo and are confident in fighting it, that’s the best place to farm its plate.
What Equipment Can You Make With Magnamalo Plate?¶
Magnamalo Plate is required to upgrade Sinister weapons to the second tier. You’ll also need one to craft the Low and High Rank Sinister Tassets, plus the Attack Jewel 2 decoration.
