How to complete BZZZZZ or ZZZZzzzz¶
This page is a walkthrough for the Quest, BZZZZZ or ZZZZzzzz. It will navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully defeating Khezu and Somnacanth.
The BZZZZZ or ZZZZzzzz Quest becomes available when you reach 5* Village Quests.

Khezu and Somnacanths’ Locations¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, be sure to consume some delicious Bunny Dango and equip yourself with a Fire or Thunder based weapon before departing. You’ll be able to find Khezu and Sommacanth in the following locations.

How to defeat Khezu and Somnacanth¶
Khezu¶
Khezu is a Flying Wyvern which was first introduced in the original Monster Hunter. This monster has a major weakness to Fire. Khezu relies on its electrical attacks to defend himself, so keep an eye for blue sparks for an indication of when to retreat. (1 of 3) Head to area 7 to find Somnacanth or to Area 12 to find Khezu roaming around.
Somnacanth¶
Somnacanth is a leviathan type monster which was first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. This monster has a major weakness to Thunder. Somnacanths main form of defense is its breathing attacks, as getting caught by it can cause you to fall asleep for a short period of time. Return to Kamura Village¶
Once you’ve defeated Khezu and Somnacanth, return to Kamura Village and speak with Hinoa to bring this quest to a close.
