How to complete Waltzing by Moonlight¶
This page is a walkthrough for the Quest, Waltzing by Moonlight. It will navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully defeating Mizutsune.
The Waltzing by Moonlight quest becomes available when you reach 5* Village Quests.

Mizutsune Location¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, be sure to consume some delicious Bunny Dango and equip yourself with a Dragon or Thunder based weapon before departing. You’ll be able to find Mizutsune in the following locations.

How to defeat Mizutsune¶

Mizutsune is a Leviathan type monster introduced in Monster Hunter Generations. This monster has a major weakness to Dragon and Thunder. Mizutsune likes depend on water-based attacks to defend itself, such as spraying water in a direct line in front of him. Return to Kamura Village¶
Once you’ve defeated Mizutsune, return to Kamura Village and speak with Hinoa to bring this quest to a close.
