How to Unlock and Complete the Disturb the Peace Challenge¶
Disturb the Peace is a Challenge in Saints Row that will unlock after you complete the mission Networking. The Disturb the Peace Challenge tasks you with completing three objectives:
- Get two-star Panteros notoriety.
- Get two-star Marshall notoriety.
- Get two-star Idol notoriety.
How to get Two-Star Notoriety in Saints Row¶
A simple enough Challenge, you need to reach level 2 Notoriety with each faction in Saints Row - Panteros, Marshall and Idols. All you need to do is head to each faction’s territory (western Santo Ileso for Marshall, northeastern Santo Ileso for the Idols, and southeastern Santo Ileso for Los Panteros), find some of them driving or walking around (enemies are noted on your minimap with a gray dot) and pick a fight. If you kill enough enemies, you should hit level 2 Notoriety.
This is a lesser version of the Challenge Santo Ileso’s Most Wanted, which tasks you with earning level 5 Notoriety with each faction. Both require you to do largely the same thing, but reaching level 5 Notoriety will naturally require more time and effort, and you’ll have to defeat foes that are both more numerous and invariably more powerful. There are some pitfalls when it comes to killing enemies to gain Notoriety, this really only becomes an issue for higher Notoriety levels - you’ll get 1-Star Notoriety just for getting into a fender bender with a rival gang. To reach level 2 Notoriety you just need to kill a few rival gangers and if you see one calling for reinforcements, ignore them to ensure more reinforcements arrive. More enemies equals more Notoriety.
Lowering the difficulty will, obviously, make completing this Challenge easier, as will bringing along allies (summon them via the “Contacts” menu on your phone), but it can cause your allies to kill enemies calling for reinforcements, so it can be somewhat counterproductive if you’re unlucky.
