How to Unlock and Complete the Santo Ileso’s Most Wanted Challenge¶
Santo Ileso’s Most Wanted is a Challenge in Saints Row that will unlock after you complete the mission [Drawing Heat]. The Santo Ileso’s Most Wanted Challenge tasks you with completing three objectives:
- Get max Panteros notoriety.
- Get max Marshall notoriety.
- Get max Idol notoriety.
How to get Max Notoriety in Saints Row¶
Simple enough at a glance, to complete this Challenge you need to reach level 5 Notoriety with each faction in Saints Row - Panteros, Marshall and Idols. All you need to do is head to each faction’s territory (western Santo Ileso for Marshall, northeastern Santo Ileso for the Idols, and southeastern Santo Ileso for Los Panteros), find some of them driving or walking around (enemies are noted on your minimap with a gray dot) and pick a fight. If you kill enough enemies, you should hit level 5 Notoriety.
Simple in theory, but in practice there are a few pitfalls, as you’ll need to be good enough at killing to stay alive, but not so good at killing you mop up your enemies before your Notoriety maxes out. You need to let enemies call reinforcements to ensure you have a continual influx of Notoriety-generating bodies to shoot at. If you run out of enemies, your Notoriety will eventually reset. Cops getting involved can also cause problems, as they’ll steal your kills when they’re not attacking you, neither of which is ideal, so try to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Once you get that lovely level 5 notoriety, a miniboss will spawn; Kill it and you’ll reset your Notoriety, and the process can begin again. Killing the miniboss isn’t necessary for this Challenge, but it may be less annoying to do so than to shake your Notoriety any other way.
If you kill each faction’s miniboss you’ll earn the achievement/trophy [Picking Fights], and you’ll need to kill Idols minibosses with Kevin to complete the Challenge Nothing Stronger than Family, if you want to try to kill two birds with one stone.
Lowering the difficulty will, obviously, make completing this Challenge easier, as will bringing along allies (summon them via the “Contacts” menu on your phone), but it can cause your allies to kill enemies calling for reinforcements, so it can be somewhat counterproductive if you’re unlucky.
