There is a good amount of content to be had in Sea of Stars, some of which is completely optional. The game doesn’t keep track of this optional content, though, especially the random side quests you can find. That means that speaking with every NPC is even more important than ever, as there are a handful of these side quests to find in the game. One such side is a robot in Repine that asks for food.
Where to Start the Hungry Robot Side Quest in Sea of Stars¶
Repine is a town that is found in the second world that you visit in the game. If you visit the inn in the town, you will see a robot on the counter that you can interact with; the robot will ask for something to eat. The food it asks for isn’t set in stone, as you are just given a vague description of what it wants. This will lead to the robot asking for a total of five different types of meals, all of which will have a generic description.
How to Complete the Hungry Robot Side Quest in Sea of Stars¶
As mentioned above, the robot will ask for some food, although you will be given a vague description of what it wants. If you give the wrong kind of food to it, you will still lose that meal and not gain it back (who’d want already eaten food). Since you can only hold ten meals at a maximum, you might need to do some shuffling around, especially if you have some good items already in your inventory.
This little side quest becomes a lot easier if you have access to all of the recipes, since you have more variety, although the earlier recipes won’t take as much ingredients to make. Note that if you need to make more food, you will already be inside the inn here, so just choose to stay to get the opportunity to cook more. With all of that out of the way, here are all of the items the robot will ask for, along with some of the foods you can give to it.
- Something SWEET: Something like a dessert (Parfait or Peach Strudel)
- Something WARMING: Something hot (Mushroom Soup or even Hearty Stew)
- Something MEATY: Something with meat (Roast Sandwich is the cheapest option)
- Something LIGHT: Something without a lot of stuff (Basic Salad)
- Something FROM THE WATER: Something with fish (Sashimi or Yakitori Shrimp)
Once you give all of the correct food dishes to the robot, you will be finished with the side quest, and given a Rainbow Conch.
