You will visit many different locations in Sea of Stars, and as you explore these places, you will come across many treasure chests. It’s always a good idea to open the chests that you find, since you can obtain new equipment, or even key items that might be used later. This page will detail the locations of every chest you can find in the Stonemason’s Outpost area of the game. You will find a total of four chests in the town, although you won’t be able to get one of those until you complete the Wind Tunnel Mines.
Treasure Chest 1¶
Locate the stairs that will bring you to the entrance of the Wind Tunnel Mines. At the base of the stairs, to the left of them, will be a doorway you can enter. Go inside this house and you will see a chest in the corner. Open it up for an Ancient Molekin Cloak. This item is an artifact you can show to Teaks, while camping, to get some lore about the game’s world.
Treasure Chest 2 and 3¶
The second and third chests are right next to one another. One of the houses you can enter will have a locked door inside, and no matter what you do, it seems you won’t be able to open it, even though you can see two chests on the other side. Back outside, head to the top portion of the town, then to the upper left corner. There is a small ledge here you can jump off of, which will send you crashing into the little patch of cracked ground.
Note you want to follow the angle of the ledge here, or you might not land right and break through the ground. After breaking through, take the exit to the southeast to appear in the back room of that previously visited house. Loot the chests for a Teal Amber Ore and Shiny Pearl, then pull the lever to open the locked door.
Treasure Chest 4¶
The last chest in the Stonemason’s Outpost is one you cannot get on your first visit, as you need the Mistral Bracelet gotten from the Wind Tunnel Mines. Upon doing so, look for the one house at the middle level that is locked. There will be another house just to the left of it that is open, so go in there. This place looks empty, but if you look closely, there is some light peeking out of the northeast corner. That corner will lead you to the next door house, which is where the painter lives. In the corner of his house, there is a green crystal you can move with your Mistral Bracelet, allowing access to a chest with a Rainbow Conch.
