You will find plenty of content in Sea of Stars, including a plethora of optional content. There is a little side quest, of sorts, that will center around the game asking you trivia…about the game. This page will focus on where to find the Quiz Master, as well as where to find all of the Question Packs.
How to Find the Quiz Master in Sea of Stars¶
It is possible that you will find a Question Pack before you gain access to the Quiz Master, meaning you’ll find an item you have no clue as to its use. Before you will be able to do anything, though, you will need the Graplou key item, which is found in the Necromancer’s Lair dungeon. You’ll need it to progress through the main story, so it’s not something you can miss. Once you have it, return to the Town of Lucent and head to the bridge on the eastern side. There is a little ledge on the northern side of the bridge that you can stand on, so do that.
From there, grapple to the north and follow the path, until you can climb a ledge to a chest (Obsidian Ore). South of that chest is another grapple point, so go in that direction to find yourself on the roof of the inn. Enter the room up here to locate another chest, with this one containing a Turbo Cookie. If you’ve fully explored Lucent, then you may recall an undead in the northwest corner, who was asking for the Turbo Cookie.
Go ahead and make your way there and give him the cookie, sparking a battle with him. It’s not really a hard fight at all, so once you’ve defeated the undead, he will disappear and tell you to check his grave. Do so (it’s right there) and you’ll obtain the Shed Key. Return to that bridge on the eastern side of town and look for the lone building just beyond it, which is where you use the Shed Key. Head inside and drop down the ladder, then interact with the white vase-like object at the end. It will ask you if you’re ready to play, so choose “Yes” to find out it’s actually the Quiz Master.
All Quiz Master Answers for Question Pack #1 in Sea of Stars¶
Upon starting the quiz, you will be asked a series of questions related to the game. The goal is to answer all of the answers correctly. For the initial set of questions, you have three tries, should you choose a wrong answer. After completing the initial set of questions, you can use the opening you emerge from to try again, where you have the option to choose either Casual or Expert. The difference is that Casual asks you six questions, while Expert asks you ten questions. You also have the option to call Teaks, who will give the correct answer for the question you summon her for. Casual allows you to call her twice, while Expert only allows you to call her once.
