Rogue Trader’s Companions are spread few and far between the galaxy, offering players numerous quests and exploration opportunities to find and hire these characters. Outside of the tutorial Prologue, one of the first recruitable Rogue Trader companions is Pasqal. The Adeptus Mechanicus soldier is located on a planet in pursuit of his master, which players can find once they access the star map navigator in Chapter 1. Here’s everything you need to know about finding and recruiting Pasqal in Rogue Trader.

Where to Find Pasqal in Rogue Trader¶
To recruit Pasqal in Rogue Trader, you need to do the following:
- Become Rogue Trader (RT)
- Complete the introduction prompts as RT
- Visit Rykad Minoris
- Fight through the rebellion
- Speak to Pasqal politely
- Ask him to join your retinue
To find and recruit Pasqal in Rogue Trader, you must visit Rykad Minoris. The planet is found on the navigation star map on the right side of the Rykad star system. You must visit this planet for the New Blood and Machine Spirit Keeper missions. Once you select the planet, click on the spaceport and land.
Upon landing at the Spaceport, you’ll find an active armed rebellion. Speak to the sergeant on the landing zone, then find out what is happening. You’ll find that many troops are escorting a Tech Priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus towards the planet’s capital on the orders of the Sergeant. You will see the escort party as you explore the middle-right side of the shuttle map.

When you can speak to Pasqal, you can then go through some conversation dialogue. Be civilized with Pasqal, as he is running calculations on whether you’re a threat or not. We advise selecting the first or second dialogue option on presenting yourself. From there, speak to him as you will about the events that transpired, and then ask him why he is going to the capital. With the context established, you’ll get a few more response options. One of the points will be to either send him back for medical attention or ask him to join your Retinue. If you press the Retinue option, you will use Pasqal as a combat ally for the mission. You can now level him up. Pascal’s Quest¶
With that said, you will escort Pasqal to the capital for his purposes while you and the squad continue on their quest to the Inquisitor of the world. You can level him up when he joins your party and proceed with the mission. From here, you can learn more about his back story and begin to help the cyborg find his old master as the course of the game continues.
