Strategies for all Difficulties¶
This map will be fought mostly in narrow corridors when the fort itself is reached. If you stay outside too long you will be swarmed by the flying units that will come around the north and south end of the map.
Speak with Inigo with either Chrom or Olivia, and then rush to the inside of the fort. The entrance way may be the best way to hold off two sides, though you can also go into the narrower corridors in order to draw them in one by one and take them out that way.
When you get Inigo, he will remark on killing five or six enemies. The more enemies he kills, the better your rewards are at the end of the level. If you manage at least 5, you get the Hammerne staff which can repair weapons – a very valuable item indeed.
Be wary of the fact the enemy Assassins have the skill “Pass”, so they can run right through your units and attack who they wish.
Alternatively, if the rush of enemies when you enter the fort is too much to handle with the swarms of flying units, you can arrange yourselves in the woods (after getting Inigo so he doesn’t rush in by himself) and take care of the flying units first, before moving in.
You can also do this in the entrance way while keeping out of enemy ranges from inside. Do whichever works best for your unit types.
Inside, there are plenty of armored units with ranged units behind them, so you do not want to get cornered by them. Be sure to deal swift, fatal blows to give yourself room. Expect powerful ranged attacks – both magic and physical – guarded by walls of Generals.
These are the prize items depending on how many enemies Inigo kills. They stack up; meaning if you kill 4, you get rewards for 1, 2 and 3 as well.
