Strategies for all Difficulties¶
This map is an all out field battle between forces. There are NPCs on the map; each time the boss goes to one, they will join the enemy. The faster you get there, the less you will have to deal with if you KO the boss. They do not move until you reach the northern segement of the map (the area north of the northmost walls) however.
Also, when enter the northmost area, the boss runs back to the corner, so will no longer recruit any more NPCs. In this case, if you can rush to the north safely it means less enemies to deal with. The boss will run away from the map if you don’t catch him in time. You lose the Bullion (L) he holds, but that’s it.
The enemies are mostly advanced class, so you will need strong units on the front lines. Be careful not to kill Cynthia; try to get Chrom or Sumia into her range but unequipped so they won’t attack back if she attacks them.
You can usually pass the northmost walls in about three turns; by then you won’t have too many extra enemies to deal with. Though you can purposefully let him convert more NPCs for the experience.
The chapter can be simple if you have pairs of strong units who can stay close together and take advantage of the terrain to best the enemies. Quite a few Berserkers and Heroes to deal with.
