This is everything you need to know about how to find and defeat the High Turning Rebel Outpost in Horizon Forbidden West.
How to Find the High Turning Rebel Outpost¶
The High Turning Rebel Outpost shouldn’t be hard to find and can be accessed quite early in the game once the Forbidden West has opened up. It’s to the northwest of Plainsong, near a Relic Ruin.
It’s recommended you’re at least Level 18 to take on this Outpost, though it’s doble with less.
How to Defeat the High Turning Rebel Outpost¶
As with most Outposts, you’ll have two objectives: find and kill the Rebel Leader (mandatory) and kill the Rebels (optional).
This Outpost isn’t too tricky only because there aren’t many Rebels on machines. Most of them are on feet, which makes them easy to kill. However, there are plenty of platforms where you’ll have to climb high to reach some of if you intend to find and them all and lure the Leader down.
There are patches of grass on the outskirts you can use to get in some stealth kills. If you do intend to use this method, you’ll find it a bit more difficult as you begin climbing but there are plenty of things to hide behind. Go slowly and quietly and you can keep taking them out.
The Rebel Leader is easy to spot as he’s the only one that seems to have a high-capacity down, though this can take your health down quick. Make sure you avoid him as much as you possibly can and dodge as you move towards him. Take him down with your weapon from a distance or use some melee-style moves to get rid of him entirely.
Once you’ve defeated him, you’ll get some Soldier Tags and materials. Much like the other Outposts, this one unfortunately doesn’t give you any Skill Points for completing it.
At that point, you can choose to leave the camp or stay behind to kill all of the Rebel Soldiers. If you decide to leave, Aloy will remark to herself that the Rebel Soldiers will abandon the place anyway now that their leader is gone.
