There is another currency in Like a Dragon: Ishin that rewards you for completing various challenges from running around the town to completing substories, and everything in-between. This currency is called Virtue, and you can spend it on many things such as upgrades to your home, farm, fishing, and many more. You can spend this currency at a shrine, and under the “Virtue” tab, you will find “Shinto Priest’s Shop Exchange, now open!” for 500 Virtue. Purchasing this will unlock the shop. This page will explain what the shop is, and show you every item you can buy.
What is the Shinto Priest’s Shop?¶
You may be wondering what this shop exactly does, and what makes it different from the plethora of shops in the game. Well, the Shinto Priest’s Shop allows you to purchase a variety of items using the Virtue currency as opposed to the regular shops using ryo, and mon.
In this shop, you can purchase a variety of materials used in crafting including the more rare-to-find materials. On top of that, you can purchase Kimonos for Haruka which is the only place in the game where you can find these. Finally, you can find some higher-tier consumables which are useful for later in the game.
At first, you’ll only have a basic list of goods to purchase, but by obtaining the Shinto Priest’s Exchange Level upgrades at the shrine, the list will grow even larger. This shop is a great place to spend your Virtue after you’ve acquired all the main upgrades at the Virtue Shop.
Where is the Shinto Priest’s Shop?¶
Once you’ve unlocked the shop via the Virtue Shrine Shop. You can find him at the shrine in the northwest part of Rakunai. If you take the Palanquin to Rakunai, you can follow the street west until the intersection, then north, west, and north again.
